Manual Wheelchairs
Traditional wheelchairs are available in two main types. The Transit / Attendant wheelchair has small rear wheels and would be pushed along by a carer or family member and the Self Propelled version has large rear wheels with hand rims for self propulsion. Some of our models are available with swing away and removable footrests, fold down backs and detachable or flip back arm rests are also an option. We always recommend the use of a wheelchair cushion for comfort and pressure care.
