The SB750 features a retractable, reclining backrest as standard, which increases patient comfort by minimising shearing and friction forces, and also has the facility to move the legrest section below the horizontal, which may benefit those with circulatory problems. An ergonomic, colour coded hand control operates all positioning functions.
Effective nursing care can be achieved with this extremely versatile bed, and when used with a high quality mattress, can allow enhanced postural and pressure management to be achieved. The hi-lo function enables the bed to be lowered to approx 21cm (8 inches) from the floor allowing ease of transfer. A choice of wooden bed ends and side rails are available, as well as collapsible epoxy coated side rails. Central braking which is supplied as standard, improves the carers working environment and allows easier access when using equipment such as hoists.
All parts of the bed are easily maintained and are accessible for cleaning and decontamination. In addition, the electrical system of the SB750 is IP66 rated, to allow for thorough cleaning.
Guaranteed for long-term use, the SB750 offers excellent stability and improved resistance against wear and tear due to the quality of the epoxy paint coating. Designed to comply with the European standards for Nursing beds (EN1970), the SB750 is also manufactured within an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, continuous improvement environment, making this an ideal choice when the highest product quality is required
