The Seating Matters range of specialist chairs have been designed to not only assist with posture management, but to also reduce the occurrence of pressure ulcers.

The NHS currently spends up to £2bn per year on treating pressure ulcers – approximately 2% of total NHS budget. Clinical trials carried out by Seating Matters in conjunction with the University of Ulster have proven that specialist seating significantly reduces the risk of pressure ulcer occurrence, therefore reducing the impact on hospital budgets and dramatically changing lives.
