CoMoveIt Smart Head-Foot Wheelchair Steering System

CoMoveIT Smart is a head-foot steering system for powered wheelchairs for people with complex movement disorders such as cerebral palsy, MS, and Tetraplegia.

This revolutionary technology has been developed by an amazing team of clinical and technology experts from the University of Belgium (KU Leuven), one of whom has cerebral palsy himself and has been putting the system through continued rigorous testing. 

The state-of-the-art system embraces AI technology and offers:

Pressure sensitive driving

Drive and steering are achieved through pressure sensors which are mounted in a head seat and foot pads attached to the wheelchair. 

Relaxed driving

Users simply lean against or press the panels in the direction they wish to travel.  

Flexible configuration

The system can be configured in many ways to accommodate the users’ individual and very specific needs.

Continual intelligence gathering with AI technology
