FormAlign Contour Wheelchair Backrest

The FormAlign® Contour Back Support features an integrated lower deep lateral support, designed to stabilise both the hips and lower thoracic region, while allowing greater clearance in the upper thoracic and scapular area. This ensures improved comfort and positioning for the user. Incorporating innovative bubble contour technology, the Contour minimises foam tension, working in combination with a soft Sunmate Viscoelastic foam overlay to enhance immersion and pressure redistribution.

A stable foundation with enhanced lateral support improves trunk stability, promoting an upright, midline sitting posture. The adjustable lumbar position allows for personalised support, while stability wedges can be added to further refine lateral contouring. The bubble contour foam pad design features a unique “bubble” structure that enhances immersion, redistributes pressure, and facilitates continuous airflow for lasting comfort.
