The Motus Hemi is specifically designed to be used by those with hemiparesis or hemiplegia allowing for full support of the persons affected side while ergonomically set up for foot scooting. It is important to factor in their abilities as well as the areas where they will require support. For example, support should be provided for paralysed limbs while making the most of any remaining mobility in other limbs. The Motus Hemi is a configurable folding adaptive wheelchair, with the ability to adjust the centre of gravity if required due to changes in the person’s condition. Also available on this Motus Hemi is the option for one arm drive system, allowing the person increased independence. |
