Quick Release Pedals allow the pedal to be detached for easier access onto the tricycle. This option allows the pedal to be detached to enable the rider to get closer to the saddle before mounting the cycle. It also allows the tricycle to be packaged smaller for transportation and storage. The Quick Release Pedal can be fitted with a Footsandal, these can then be detached with the pedal in one piece. The is an extremely useful product feature, the pedals can be detached to enable the tricycle to be moved easier when the rider is not using it, it means pedals and Footsandals do not spin as the wheels go around. The Quick Release Pedal option is particularly useful when used in conjuction with a Swivel Seat option to enable easier standing transfers. |
