For low mobility patients, and patients with extended stays in bed, the Sorrento is widely used in hospitals and rehabilitation units, clinically designed to reduce pressure injuries, prevent sliding, falls and safely increase early mobilization. Sorrento has been designed with dementia care in mind and has received a class 1A accreditation from the Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) at the University of Stirling. DSDC is recognised worldwide as leaders in the field of dementia design to improve responsive behaviours associated with dementia. |
